Introducing Clermont Steep — a bold, category-defining American single malt from James B. Beam Distilling Co. in Clermont, Kentucky. Crafted under the direction of master distiller Freddie Noe, this whiskey uses 100% malted barley, fermented with the Beam family’s jug yeast and matured for five years in new-oak barrels with a light char. On the nose you’ll find toasted malt, caramel and toffee. The palate offers smooth vanilla, cereal sweetness and hints of whole-grain cereal, finishing with soft oak spice and lingering cereal sweetness.
